萱野陽子|Yoko Kayano

2015年、都内大学院の文系博士課程を単位取得後退学。研究生活から一転、料理に夢中になる。

幼少期を米ニューヨークで過ごし、学生時代は英エディンバラへ留学。 欧米のオーガニック志向やクリーンイーティングのライフスタイルに触れる機会が多々あり、影響を受ける。

クリーンイーティングをテーマにした海外の料理ブログを読むのが現在の日課。 レシピや盛り付けを参考にしている。

I was studying English literature for a PhD until I realized that I was becoming more interested in cooking “real” food. In 2015, I left university and started cooking at home, learning from books and websites.

I spent my childhood in New York. I studied at University of Edinburgh as an exchange student. Both in US and UK, there was always one or two organic food shops near I lived and people talked about how to make healthier choices. Living aboard was a good opportunity for me to learn about organic food and the concept of clean eating.

I am still learning to cook better and trying to be mindful of what I eat. I enjoy what I do now and I am happy to share my recipes with you.
